The EdgeXOS platform incorporates a number of tools and technologies which add to the overall capabilities of the appliance which helps to make the EdgeXOS platform a best of breed product.

Components

Virtual Technician
Includes the ability to automatically probe and analyze the causes of a network outage. This module will create a report in the aftermath of a network outage in order to determine the most likely cause of the outage and thus help in troubleshooting the issue.

Multilink Outage Detection
This advnaced feature ensures the accurate determination of a network outage by probing multiple points within the path out to the Internet including core devices within the Internet. Our MOD module not only tests the local gateway, as many other devices do, but it probes further down the line to make sure that the broadband link itself is functioning properly, and that the service providers network is working as it should. These additional test make sure that if any point in the chain becomes unstable, the EdgeXOS knows about it.
