XRoads Networks is a Unified Bandwidth Management appliance which means that it delivers a full bandwidth management solution, including network traffic shaping, monitoring, load balancing, compression, and security.

Network Load Balancing

A core components of our Edge platform is the ability to aggregate multiple WAN connections (T1, Cable, DSL, Wireless, Satellite) into a single routing device and balance traffic across the various links.

Traffic Shaping

As network resources continue to be strained by an ever increasing number of applications, mission critical applications can suffer. The Edge appliances can increase critical application performance, while limiting unwanted bandwidth usage.

XOS Secure Firewall

Every Edge platform has the ability to support full unified threat management capabilities including: Stateful Enterprise Firewall, Intrusion Detection System, Virus Vulnerability Scanner, Web Content Filtering, and Enhanced DDoS Protection.

Site2Site SSL-Tunnels

Improve speed, responsiveness, and reliability for site-to-site wide-area network connections with our Site2Site SSL-tunnel module. The Site2Site module includes the ability to load balance fully meshed VPN connections, while providing instant failover, compress data between sites, prioritize applications, and increase TCP performance. Overall a superior, more reliable WAN optimization solution.

Network Reporting

The Edge appliances include a wide range of reporting options including: WAN/LAN usage reporting, application usage reporting, VPN usage reporting, user defined reports, shaping statistics, SLA monitoring and reporting, and local/remote site server monitoring.
